Badrinath is the most popular religeus town of hindu located in chamolo District, Uttarakhand India. Badrinath Temple:-
The holly temple Badrinath has three structures; the Garbhagriha (sanctum), the Darshan Mandap (worship hall), and Sabha Mandap (convention hall). The tapering shaped roof the workroom, the garbhagriha, is just about 15 m (49 ft) tall with a small cupola on peak, sheltered with a gold gilt covering. The facade is built by stone and has curved windows. A broad stairway leads up to the main entrance, a tall, arched gate. Just inside is a mandap, a large, pillared hall is there that leads to the chamber, or main shrine area. The walls and pillars of the corridor are covered with elaborate carvings.

Tapt Kund:-
The Tapt Kund, a group of hot sulphur springs underneath the temple, is measured to be medicinal; It is considered that it is required to bath in the source of water before visiting the temple. The source of water have a year-round temperature of 55 °C (131 °F), while outside temperature is typically below 17 °C (63 °F) all year round. The two water ponds of the temple are called Narad Kund and Surya Kund.

Brahma Kapal:-
Brahma Kapal holds the mythological conviction that it was at this place where lord Shiva calmed from his shrap (Curse) of killing Brahma. It is also said that Brahma’s head had fallen off from Shiva’s Trishul (trident) with the blessing of Lord Vishnu here at Brahama Kapal.

NeelKanth:-
It is said that there was no mountain on the place where Nilkantha stand today. There was an adage path connecting Kedarnath and Badrinath. The "Purahita" (A south Indian worshiper only who have rights to worship Kedarnath and Badrinath ) or the worshiper of the two temples worshiped them in one day. This continued forever and a day untill due to some sins of the worshiper, Lord Shiva became angry with him and stood jamming the way of Kedarnath and Badrinath as a giant sky-kissing mountain, that is known as modern Nilkantha.
